A collection of stories we discovered in 2023 about food and the conversations surrounding it.

Bon Appetit!

How it was made.

This 9i99 project was first initiated by Nano Zantara, inspired by the never-ending daily conversation around the office that always revolves around food. Nano realized how food was such a universal subject, one that can make even the quiet ones opinionated.

Stories contributed and written by all 24 members of 6616 Creative House.

Each page purposefully designed by Nano Zantara to match the character of each writer.

Including an illustration by Nindita Kirana.

Edited and proofread by Shafira Sahara and Andris Wisatha.

Snippets of thoughts from industry practitioners.

“A passion project from 6616 that truly embodies its passion. It’s a delightful cookbook, enjoyable both to read and to look at. The quirky graphics, while also familiar to my daily life, make this book very close to my heart.”

“A zine packed with stories, both literally and figuratively. “Cook Cook Book Cook” offers a vibrant look at food’s deeper meanings and celebrates the many personal ways people connect with it. This zine doesn’t just treat our eyes (and maybe the taste buds if you try a few recipes 😉), but it brings warmth and unexpected emotions as you dig deep into it.”
